FP International S.A.S, première filiale européenne de la FP International,
fut fondée en 1971. La première unité de fabrication de particulaire flo-pak
en polystyrène expansé est implantée près de Paris à La Courneuve en 1972.
Le particulaire flo-pak est un succès immédiat et remporte l'Oscar au Salon
de l'Emballage de 1972. Cette notoriété et la demande qui en résulte
justifient la construction en 1975 d'une usine de 2000 m2 à Sarcelles.
25 ans plus tard,il s'avére nécessaire de construire une nouvelle unité,
encore plus importante, qui ouvre ses portes à Villiers-le-Bel en 1998.
L'usine de Villiers-le-Bel s'étend sur une surface de 6000 m2 et emploie 50
personnes. Elle est équipée de 2 lignes de production de particulaire
flo-pak en PSE (polystyrène expansé) 100% recyclé et de 2 lignes d'extrusion
de gaine PEHD destinée au système de coussins d'air flo-pak CELL-O.
FP International S.A.S développe également des solutions d'ingéniérie BULK
AIR, afin d'adapter le stockage et la distribution de nos solutions de
calage à l'environnement de ses clients.
FP International est également distributeur exclusif pour la France de la
solution TWISTPAC, de calage par dépose automatique de film étirable.
FP International S.A.S sert principalement le marché français et plus
généralement l'Europe latine.

Die dritte Europäische Niederlassung von FP International wurde 1989 in
Herbrechtingen erbaut, auf halber Strecke zwischen Stuttgart und München.
Von diesem Werk aus werden Kunden beliefert in Süddeutschland, Österreich
und der Schweiz. In diesem 1800qm grossen Werk werden FLO-PAK PS-Verpackungschips
hergestellt. Die FP International GmbH hat 27 Mitarbeiter.

The third facility FP International built in Europe was built in 1989 in
Herbrechtingen, Germany, halfway between Stuttgart and Munich. From this
plant, FPI serves customers in Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The 20,000 sq. ft. facility produces FLO-PAK polystyrene loosefill. Herbrechtingen has 27 employees.

In 1979 is FP International B.V. opgericht en meteen is begonnen met de bouw
van een productielocatie. Na een langdurige afweging is gekozen voor Heerlen
als locatie, vanwege de nabijheid van de industrie in het Duitse Ruhrgebied
en de centrale ligging binnen de Benelux. In januari 1980 is de productie
van start gegaan in de 2500 m2 grote fabriek. In 1988 werd de bestaande
fabriek uitgebreid met 2250 m2. De vestiging in Heerlen heeft 46 medewerkers
en levert aan klanten in Nederland, België, Luxemburg, Duitsland en
Scandinavië. In Heerlen worden FLO-PAK EPS loosefill, BIO 8 biologisch
afbreekbare verpakkingschips en HDPE-folie voor de CELL-O
luchtkussenmachines geproduceerd. Vanaf oktober 2002 zal het papiersystem
FASTTrack geïntroduceerd worden. In Heerlen zijn de administratieve
activiteiten ondergebracht voor zowel het Nederlandse als het Duitse bedrijf.

In 1979, FP International B.V. was established, and construction started on
a manufacturing facility. After much consideration, a location was selected
in Heerlen because of its proximity to Germany's industrial Ruhr Valley as
well as markets in The Netherlands. The 28,000 sq. ft. facility began
production in January 1980. By 1988, production was at full capacity. The
company added 25,000 sq. ft., bringing the Heerlen plant to 53,000 sq. ft.
The Heerlen plant has 46 employees and serves customers in The Netherlands,
Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany and Scandinavia. The facility manufactures FLO-PAK
polystyrene loosefill packaging, BIO 8 biodegradable loosefill packaging and
HDPE film for the CELL-O air cushion machines. Heerlen also operates as the administrative
facility for both Dutch and German plants.
